Safety Mind
Mindful Safety Culture
What is Safety Mind?
The Program
Safety Mind is a Behavioural Safety Culture Change Program that leverages breakthroughs in neuroscience, performance psychology and mindfulness to achieve lasting behaviour change and create a culture that is collectively mindful of safety. Our unique approach sees our people become part of your team as we maintain a large presence on the client site through all stages of the change journey. This ensures that you achieve lasting, sustainable change resulting in the highest possible return on your investment.
Vida works with Clients to achieve Safety Excellence!
The Rationale
Given that 96% of all workplace accidents are being triggered by unsafe behaviour, professionals from all industries are increasingly aware that incident reduction and improving safety performance can only be achieved by systematically focusing on safety behaviour in the workplace.
Promoting safe behaviour at work is a critical part of the management of health and safety because behaviour turns systems and procedures into reality. On their own, good systems do not ensure successful safety management - the level of success is determined by how organisations ‘live’ their systems.
Vida Solutions has a comprehensive range of safety programs to offer clients. Each intervention is tailored to meet the unique needs of the client. We integrate front-line leadership with proven methodologies to improve behaviour and reduce risk in your workplace. We harness the power of employee buy-in with management commitment to create a climate of true culture change in your organisation.
The Vida Behavioural Safety Programs are a positive, employee driven, system of safety observations, feedback, and problem-solving that are highly effective and field-tested.
The Programs help clients create a behavioural safety culture change process that helps ensure employees are doing the right things for the right reasons.

What our clients have to say
Feedback from National OHS Manager – FMCG:
“I chose Vida Solutions to develop and deliver the Behaviour Based Safety program for our company. When I looked at all the different providers of this style of program very few understood the link between the visible actions of leaders and behavioural change at the shop floor. This was not the case with Vida.
I have found that the Vida approach has built the essential skills for our leaders to go out and engage with their team members. From there the leaders then educate and coach the individual to improve their behaviours. The leaders identify the individual drivers, the personal consequences of the employees behaviour and can coach to ensure that new safer habits stick and true behaviour change is embedded into the company culture.
End result – our people are becoming more engaged to be the solution for safety and that has now positively affected other issues they identify as part of their work.”
